I have been playing and teaching guitar for over 25 years. I live in northwest Arkansas with my wife, daughter, and son. Music has been my passion most of my life, although lately I've spent a good amount of time fishing.

I currently teach guitar (beginner through advanced) at a local, four-year university. Once the pandemic hit, I had to think creatively about how I could continue to provide lessons to my university students and realized that online, pre-recorded lessons were a great medium.

Based on my teaching experience, I realized that I could take teaching guitar outside of the classroom setting, outside of the traditional face-to-face model, and make lessons available to anyone, whether a parent looking for guitar lessons for their child(ren), someone who is simply wanting to learn guitar for beginners, or even an advanced guitarist who is desiring to get over the hump and improve their playing.

These lessons have served as a great tool for:
  • beginner hobbyists or those with guitars gathering dust
  • homeschool families like ours who want to add affordable and convenient music curriculum
  • families who want to save yet another trip to
extracurricular activities and utilize lessons from home
  • self-taught musicians that need to supplement their knowledge, review basics, or be challenged to advance their skillset
